Macarthur advised on financing arrangements for the acquisition of four post-Panamax Bulk Cargo Carriers.

Financial Modelling for Commercial Real Estate Assets (2010)
Macarthur were engaged to build a financial model utilising a range of valuation techniques to assist management make the purchase decision relating to properties in the range of $5M to $20M. Strategic Advice Maritime Finance (2011)

Tender for Operators of a Sand Quarry (2008 – 2010)
Macarthur were engaged to provide commercial and strategic advice in relation to the preparation and running of the tender process for a family owned entity that controls a large sand quarry, producing high quality construction concrete sand for the Canberra market. Macarthur project managed the transaction documentation and negotiated with the final tenderers to execute a long term royalty contract on a take or pay basis for the resource owners.

Health Wealth & Time Limited (2007 – 2011)
Macarthur restructured and provides the ongoing management and administrative services for Health Wealth & Time Limited (“HWT”). HWT currently contracts with ASX Top 200 companies to provide Employee Benefits services primarily in relation to Superannuation and Insurances. Macarthur was instrumental in the development of HWT’s proprietary web based Employee Benefits Information System (“EBIS”) that allows Human Resources and employees to easily access and distribute employee data.

Sale of Packaging Business (2009)
Macarthur was engaged to provide commercial advice in relation to the sale of a principals’ interest in a Packaging business. Macarthur prepared a Valuation Report and assisted the principal with final negotiation.

Financial Modelling for Acquisition of Distressed Shipping Assets (2009)
Macarthur was engaged to build a financial model and provide financing advice for a Greek investor looking to acquire distressed bulk cargo carrier assets.

Tender Management for WA Department of Planning & Infrastructure (2008)
Macarthur was engaged to review all documentation including providing recommendations for department policy and completing financial analysis relating to each tenderer leading to the successful ongoing operation of this facility. The Directors have completed a number of similar engagements for other government departments as either an advisor or as the financier including NSW “All of Government” Panel Member, Western Australian Department of Treasury & Finance, Western Australian Department of Transport and Western Australian Department of Education.

Acquisition of Investment Evolution (2007)
The Macarthur directors project managed and prepared the documentation relating to the acquisition of Investment Evolution Limited by an Australian ASX Listed entity.

FirstRock Mortgage Centre (2007)
Completed due diligence leading to the structured acquisition and re-capitalisation of a Gold Coast based Mortgage Aggregator. Mandate included financial modelling, incentive based contracting of key personnel and management of purchase documentation.
